About me

Hello, teachers of the world!

My name is Patricia, I'm 24 years old and I am currently finishing a MA Education at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid, Spain). I'm a graduate in English and Modern Languages (French). I've done some small teaching experiences in my hometown, Toledo, which I highly recommend you to visit! I've also done some leading experiences in English courses in Ireland, which I expect to repeat soon.

In my spare time, I like practising both English and French as much as I can, as well as learning other languages such as German or Italian. How, you may ask? Easy peasy, by travelling a lot. Travel is one of my passions. I like to know about a country's culture and lifestyle, as well as their language. I like to meet people from all over the world, so I'm always ready for a nice talk. A great example of that is my experience in the UK. I've been living in Norwich for about a year. This has been the best moment in my life so far... and the most rewarding experience a language teacher can have, indeed!

I love going to the cinema or reading a good book as well (English/Spanish/French either way). As a high school teacher I'm currently into YA fiction. I love book+film sagas such as Harry Potter, Divergent, The Hunger Games or Red Queen (coming soon to the big screen!). I also like spending my spare time on social media (Facebook, YouTube or Blogger) or strolling around my beautiful city, no matter what time it is (or what the weather is like).

As you can see, I love languages. The more I learn, the more I love them. I love to show my passion to my students, so that's an extra motivation for them. I'm aware I'm still a rookie teacher though. I like to learn everyday from the others. In this blog I like to show you what the others have taught me, so it's a good start. I hope you enjoy this blogging experience as much as I do with writing posts!
